The cheap side of me is just loving this classic Dome Satchel by NYC by Perlina. This urban style leather satchel features a zip closure and double handles with embossed detail. Available in red and black, this inexpensive beauty measures 5.5×10 and sells for $39.99 at Target. At this price, I can visit Target every week for a new bag, expecially when that’s about how long it takes me to tire of my old one.

In one of the Claudine novels, Colette unflatteringly described a character as having the feral, civet-like smell of a redhead. In the 1920s, Jean Patou released a trio of fragrances, each reflecting a different stage of love and a different hair color. Adieu Sagesse (Goodbye Wisdom) is the scent for redheads, for instance. I remembered both Colette and Patou when I came across a copy of Best Hairdos, a drugstore book published by Fawcett in 1965.

Coming in October, a new trio of fragrances from Esprit: Esprit Connect Her, Him and Us. Esprit Connect Her was developed by perfumer Bernard Ellena, and features watermelon, pineapple, freesia, fresh water, jasmine, peony, water lily, raspberry wood, sandalwood and musk. Esprit Connect Her will be available in 15, 30 and 50 ml Eau de Toilette and in matching body products. Esprit Connect Him includes notes of orange, grapefruit, lemon, tangerine, Nashi pear, lavender, rose, lotus, sea breeze, teak, patchouli, amber and musk.

Bond no. 9’s Andy Warhol Silver Factory is the first in a projected series of unisex fragrances created under an agreement with The Andy Warhol Foundation for the Visual Arts. The (perfect! I want one!) bottle design for Silver Factory was inspired by Warhol’s 1965 series of Campbell Soup Can silkscreens, and the scent was named for Warhol’s Manhattan studio, The Silver Factory, where the walls were decorated with aluminum foil and spray paint.

Making an appearance at the Oscar de la Renta Spring 2008 Fashion Show, Victoria Beckham showed NYC that her sense of style a force that can not be denied. Leaving on her oversized sunglasses, Victoria Beckham sat first row at the show carrying the special order Hermes Baccara Crocodile Clutch. Victoria is known to have the Hermes collection that would make any fashionista weak in the knees.
